I am a Palestinian-American chef, artist, storyteller. I tell folks that I exist at the intersection of the film world and the food world, and my work takes many mediums - always provoking liberation and perspective shift.

My career started in film as a DP, and my path led me toward the art of food (you can hear more about that story here). With over a decade speaking the language of production - both in visual media and experience design - I thrive in collaboration and translating vision to reality.

My work centers nourishment as a site of healing, memory, and collective transformation. I braid diasporic Palestinian foodways with hyper seasonal, intentional sourcing and a reverence for relationships- to all beings human and nonhuman, the land we stand on and our ancestral bloodlines.

I am based between NYC and the Hudson Valley, and travel for collaborative experiences, pop ups, retreats and speaking engagements. I love to collaborate with cultural institutions and purpose-led brands, and I do a select number of private commissioned culinary experiences for value aligned, intentional gatherings.
